As someone who attends live MMA events semi-frequently I strongly disagree. There is always 10-15min gaps of time to visit the merch stands or go to the bathroom between fights. The last thing most fans in attendance are asking for is a slower pace.

Also a 10 minute 7th inning stretch is completely different than having two 60-100 minute breaks in the later half of a show.

True. Go visit Horiguchi during the break then and tell him what a stud he is for his size.

- Rizin 14 took 8hr20min to get through its 13 fights.
- UFC 232 took 6hr30min to get through the same amount.

UFC PPVs have pretty decent pacing, I was talking about the FS1 cards that had 6 main card fights and lasted well over 3 hours.

Though nothing beats Bellator 212 that took nearly 4 hours for 5 fights.

Well Bellator's 5 fights at least totaled 63 minutes, where as Rizin's only added to 31.5 (exactly half). Both were atrocious, but Rizin needing even more time for half the amount of fighting content makes it worse imo.
