what is this? anyone have any idea?

i just stumbled upon it. live press conference: coming up in an hour

 
Feel like I see one of these pop up every once in awhile. I assume it's to announce the Rizin/Fight Nights even they've been talking about. But I feel like I've seen Rizin have full on pressers to announce that they'll be serving ice cream at the events so who knows.

yeah it probably could be about the fedor fight nights co-promotion thing...hope the press conference is on that beach again

Here we go, going off of this account
- 8 man Open weight tourney later this year with Wandy
- Wandy wants RIZIN to become super ZST with tag MMA bouts
- Tokoro called for a fight with Kron (I know the rumor is that they were a done deal to fight this weekend but Kron pulled out with an injury before the announcement)
- International stream is being worked on for future events
- Tokoro wants to do more tag grappling matches along with MMA
- Next event at the end of September and NYE event planned, both in Saitama
- They want Gabi to be on as many events as possible, preferably all of them
- Takada wants more tag grappling bouts but wants to fine tune the mechanics of it

Lol everybody fucking wants more tag team shit wtf.
 
the open weight tourney sounds good! And September ia not too far away.
 
The most important thing that came out of this is that they are working on the availability of international streams.
I will gladly pay and stay up for a RIZIN event stream, just make it happen !

they should just have a paid stream on youtube since they already do all their live press conference streams there. i'd feel comfortable paying through youtube and it shouldn't be too hard for them to setup
 
I'd be happy to see more tag team grappling. Some of the old contender's matches were a lot of fun. However, the one they had last was pretty bad. They should concentrate on getting younger, more exciting grapplers involved, rather than old broken down veterans.

Checked that account to see what RENA had said, but unfortunately he didn't have any translations from her portion of the press conference.
