~~~~~ Ok, here's the deal. Americans can only watch this in parts. The first 10 fights are on Fite.TV on a PPV. The Bellator vs. Rizin fights are on Showtime, tape-delayed to air at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT on Saturday night. We wish we had a better way to help you watch it all live. ~~~~~
You guys will see me in the PBP for RIZIN tonight, as far as the bellator portion, to hell with it. I suppose I'll just miss it
So if I order this on fite, is it actually live and which fights do I get?
You'll get just RIZIN 40 without bellator main card, starts at 12 on FITE
Depends where you live, but most likely you'll get this:
W108 Final: Seika Izawa (8-0) vs. Si Woo Park (9-4)
135: Naoki Inoue (15-3) vs. Kenta Takizawa (13-8)
HW: Tsuyoshi "Sudario" Kamiyama (6-1) vs. Junior Tafa (3-0)
??? Special: Ren Hiramoto vs. Mystery Fighter X
135: Yuki Motoya (32-9, 1 NC) vs. Rogerio Bontorin (16-4, 2 NC)
155: Johnny Case (27-9-1) vs. Nobumitsu Osawa (14-6)
145: Chihiro Suzuki (9-3) vs. Yoshiki Nakahara (17-5)
155: Noah Bey (1-2) vs. Sho Usami (5-1)
137 MMA?: Yushi Sakura (2-1) vs. Tatsuya Nakazawa (1-0)
Total bush that the Bellator x Rizin portion is tape delayed.
Showtime had aired international Bellator cards live so I figured they would’ve done the same here. Tape delay is just bad business post-1998
Not seeing this listed on showtime. I'd buy it through fite, but already have showtime. Can anyone be awesome and confirm it is on showtime? I couldn't find rizin listed on the live TV, or by searching for it, or by going through the sports category.
It's partly on Showtime (the last 5 fights) on Saturday night at 8 PM ET. As in, not overnight. As in, they're tape-delaying the main portion and withholding it from North American audiences. It's ludicrous.
Okay that's why that was so confusing. Thank you. Tape delaying the main portion. :mad:
So there's no way to watch the 'Main Card' Showtime portion in real time through another service? Sorry a bit under the weather. I may not be reading this correctly, lol.
The best option would be a VPN, but honestly I don't even know which countries have it and which don't. Canada might, I've heard conflicting reports.
No conflict anymore. 100% Canada gets the whole event live for $15.
That would be very helpful for those reading this thread....I can't officially suggest that people use a VPN and get the event as a whole through Fite, so all I'm saying is look into it.
