for sure, im not saying it was easy, but knowing Kai would shoot the right and simply taking his head off the line as he kicked is hardly the most convoluted strategy ever

It was rough to see Taiyo Nakahara come back and have such a rough go of it. He was a heckuva fighter, very determined and resourceful. And he's come through a lot, having his career stalled by serious injuries and then coming back to do well in Sengoku with some great performances, only for Sengoku to fold.

I agree with the people saying Ota has potential, even when he ended up in sub positions (even when he got subbed) or got hit really hard in the face, his reaction was basically.

which bodes well for learning and future fights I think. At the end of the day whatever his wrestling credentials he was still making his MMA debut against a guy with over 60 fights against decent level comp.
