I think Phogat are cousins.
Regarding to relatives of mma fighters there is Magda Wiet-Henin, competes at taekwondo for France, her parents are Orlando Wiet and Valerie Henin (Valerie Wiet at Sherdog) and Australian judoka Aoife Coughlan, her brother Eoin fought under mma rules.
Also Abdurakhmonov, Musakaev and Lisek are three guys at current Olympics who fought under mma rules.

Phogat sisters - Wikipedia
According to Wikipedia they are cousins by blood, but they were effectively raised as sisters.
"While Geeta, Babita, Ritu, and Sangeeta are daughters of former wrestler and coach Mahavir Singh Phogat, Priyanka and Vinesh were brought up by Mahavir after their father, who is the younger brother of Mahavir, died when they were young"

Olympics may give us many MMA fighters congrats to USA wrestler Sarah Hildebrandt on gold, hope you try MMA. Hildebrandt's original opponent, Vinesh Phogat of India, failed to make weight Wednesday morning despite taking drastic weight-loss measures overnight, going so far as to even cut off much of her hair. The Indian Olympic Association said she nevertheless missed the 50-kilogram cutoff, albeit by just 100 grams, which is about 0.22 pounds. Sarah was left in limbo waiting on a new opponent which never materialized waited until announced she got the gold. Maybe one day we will see these ladies get their chance to fight but in MMA.

Really unfortunate because if there's one country that needed that Olympic medal, it's India. Even silver would have got them some respect. But rules are rules, and every competitor agreed to abide by them.
The other wrinkle to this story is Phogat missed weight in the Olympics at 50 kg (110 lbs). But she's a 53 kg (116 lbs) wrestler and hasn't competed at 50 kg since 2018. Both of her World bronze medals in 2019 and 2022 were at 53 kg. But before the Olympics, she was informed by her Indian athletic governing body that her countrywoman Antim Panghal was being selected as India's representative at 53 kg without the opportunity to wrestle her off for the spot. So Phogat had no choice but to cut another 6 lbs to make 50 kg and obviously that didn't work out on the highest of stages. Panghal repped India at 53 kg but was eliminated in her first match at the Olympics.

That might be an oversimplification but yeah, India doesn't seem to do a whole lot for its athletes. Apparently Phogat and others who qualified for the Olympics did so on their own dime, and the government only then gave them a small monthly stipend for the next 2 months until the Olympics. LOL. I guess India has plenty of other problems to dedicate their money and resources to. And on balance, while Phogat was more seasoned and favored to do better at 53 kg, Panghal had the more recent world championship at that weight, taking bronze in 2023 vs. Phogat's bronzes in 2022 and 2019. Phogat is also mired in some kind of protest against the former head of the Wrestling Federation of India for sexual misconduct against female wrestlers. So situation normal, all fucked up.

But it makes you wonder how much better someone like Phogat could have done had she competed for a country that actually sponsors its Olympic hopefuls. Her making it to the gold medal match vs. Sarah Hildebrandt is nothing short of amazing.
