So Conor has a belt and so does Aldo now?

Talk about having the worst possible situation ever for a division. CMAC refuses to go defend his belt that he won almost a year ago, and Aldo is probably the worst champion ever at stalling match ups and disputing who or why he should be expected to defend his belt.

So we have two guys that both have a problem with the UFC in what they have to promote as well as you know the UFC will want some other bogus World Tour again.

This situation sucks. Hopefully Holloway can get the belt at some point.

It will be hard matching up their schedules. Conor has fights in other weight classes and Aldo has injuries to get.

Well not to mention it looks horrible too. The champ's up at 170 fighting a lightweight and the guy that the champ knocked out in thirteen seconds is now the interim champ.. What a freaking circus the UFC is becoming.

Pray Diaz smokes him again. You know if Connor wins the rubber match will happen

If Conor doesn't defend his title after losing to Diaz again he needs to be stripped of it IMMEDIATELY.

Not likely. If Conor wins, Dana will likely give him a title shot at 155. The UFC is an absolute joke these days with BS match making. They want Conor to be a 2 division champ so bad they won't even make him defend the title he DOES have.

Mustache Aldo will not be injured.

Mustache Aldo is best Aldo. Seriously though some of those punches he was hitting Edgar with reminded me of the Aldo of old and he had pretty good cardio too. His takedown defense was excellent, literally tossed Edgar aside like a little kid, dismissively. "Get the hell outta here with your single-leg bitch."

Wait a sec here bro. You mention "circus" but I saw no mention whatever of C.M. Punk? :)

I was pretty confused last night when the crowned Aldo.

It was 4 am though and I had consumed beer.

Maybe not as confused as Brian Caraway watching Meisha get clattered. That was pretty horrible to watch.

HH is the only fighter that stands a chance against Nunes apart from Mark Hunt.

The interesting thing is that Nate must know that there's a lot more money to be made if there's a 3rd fight.

Almost a year ago? Try about half a year ago. They will be scheduled for fall I'm sure.

McGregor/Diaz is happening next month. And we saw McGregor/Aldo six months ago. Calm down with the drama.

If Conor wins that fight with Diaz, it is likely that he could get the 155 match up with Alverez. I doubt he'd be stripped.

When did he say this?

It's already confirmed that after he fights Diaz at 202 his next fight will be Aldo, regardless if he wins or loses against Nate.

If Conor wins, he'll fight Aldo and then have the 3rd match with Diaz.

If Conor actually decides to defend his belt after the Diaz fight it will be roughly a year without a defense. That is completely unacceptable for a healthy fighter.

Confirmed? It was also "confirmed" that Conor would be defending his belt next after the first Nate fight. How did that turn out?
