Emily Dole (September 28, 1957 – January 2, 2018) She was 60 years old.
One of the biggest star's during GLOW's run from 1986 to 1992, never lost a match during her wrestling career. Cause of death is still unknown but she was in poor health.
RIP - CHAMP

oh man. at least they got their reunion.

what is that terrifying golem creature on the right?!?!

Damn. GLOW was so cool to watch back in the day.

One of my earliest memories is Mt. Fiji being chained up in a corner with the heels beating the shit out of her mate(s). IIRC they even hyper extended the girls' elbows in a spot and I was friggin blown away how they did that. Then Fiji has seen enough, breaks out of the chains and makes the save.

Might not have went down totally like that - but it's how I remember her, and it.

She wasn't very good
You could say she was bad
Now that she's dead
I'm very sad

Waiting for the group of trolls to virtue signal and tell me she didn't die at an early age of 60 from being massively overweight

Shes on the documentary on Netflix about GLOW. She looked terrible there. Bigger surprise that it took this long for her to go.

Ah, shit. RIP Mt. Fiji.

What an unfortunately tragic figure.

she seemed like a nice person in the documentary.

she had a lot of injuries and health problems when she was filming that.

she couldn't even walk and was being taken care of by a lot of nurses and therapists.

barely noticed this documentary was made in 2012 I'm surprised she lasted 6 more years after that in her state of health.
