RIP Kevin Randleman: Help Raise Money for Family Expenses.

I agree with Jay philips. Weird thing all around. If you take steroids like candy you should be prepared to die at a young age. Is it actually 15 grand to bury someone? Is the coffin made of gold?
While I don't really have anything to say about the first part of your post I kind of agree with the 2nd part

Why would someone be making 15 grand of someone dying and if they are why are people allowing it, I feel really bad for Kevin and his family but not a big fan of asking for handouts because of a death in the family. We all go through this

RIP Randleman

Ridiculous that a country with so much wealth would send a dead man's wife his medical bills...

So many of you have been brainwashed, you're like turkeys voting for Christmas, Socialism is exactly what you guys need.

This little boy that the cops shot,.. They just sent his parents a bill for shooting and killing their kid.

Welcome to America.

I'm don't mean to sound like a jerk but you don't have to be rich to afford life insurance. I hope some of you learn from this.

Do you have life insurance?

Of course you will say yes. All internet people are perfect and flawless.

How about, Kevin thought he was young, in shape, and wasn't afraid of anything.

Maybe he didn't have a scary run in with anything, to make him feel concerned.

Maybe as part of the UFC's and Rizin's policy, they should have these guys get mandatory life insurance, I don't know.

I have never used this thing but would like to help is this thing legit I don't want GoFundme to do something else besides fund me

It's legit. I've donated to more than a few similar causes over the last few years, and have not had any negative consequences.

50k for funeral? Bruh, I understand when a family is in need when a loved one dies but I think they asking too much on handouts. They probably only going to wind up spending 10-15k on the funeral and using the rest to pay off mortages or sumchat and aint nobody got time 4 dat.

How does someone who competed in combat sports not have a massive life insurance policy?

Sure the premiums would be more than average Joe's but that's the whole point, he put himself at heightened risk.

This seems kinda ridiculous.

Has it been specifically mentioned anywhere that he in fact didn't have life insurance?

Give those kids your money ya selfish cloogies.

Dam, I was on holiday when he died.

What a monster, pardon the pun. Legend of MMA, forever in the history of this sport.

Of course they do: "GoFundMe will deduct a 5% fee from each donation that you receive. A small processing fee of about 3% will also be deducted."
Wow, 8% is a lot. Nothing we can do about it now, but it looks like competition should eventually be able to undercut them significantly.

Sad. I live less than thirty minutes from his hometown of Sandusky. He was pretty young to go out from heart failure.

If he did have insurance and they still need 50k from gofundme, he didn't have enough.

Yeah, 8% is high imo...3-5% MAX.

I've used it several times w/ no issues over the last 3 yrs or so.

Oh you americans. Are these fundraisings the new form of socialism. What if some unknown smuck dies, who is there to collect money for them?
What possesses people like you to run their mouth? If you don't want to donate then don't. But how bitter do you have to be to shit on the idea of helping someone in need?

Fuck...I literally scrolled slowly wondering if one of these would actually make it past the first page without the obligatory douche comments.....nope.

They just thought the 50k was the ceiling.

This isn't a handout. The guy earned it by putting in work and now dying.

You idiots are acting like he sat on the couch his whole life and is now asking for a handout.

Either way, it doesn't matter. You can choose not to donate to either situation. However, people trying to purposely sabotage either situation are just hating. You really deserve to be humiliated, on video, for the world to see.

...It is a handout though.

He got compensated throughout his career but mismanaged his finances and policies if his family now need money from the public to afford a funeral.

I never said there was anything wrong with people donating but I also don't think the UFC should be vilified if they choose not to.

He got somewhat compensated by the company, never from the people watching it.

This is not a handout.

This younger generation doesn't seem to understand what a handout is. Pretty much the majority of people calling it a handout, lives in a home they don't pay for, doesn't pay bills or hardly any at all, doesn't pay for their internet or even food, yet they are experts in financial responsibility.

Gtfo with that.
