Crime Riots over gas prices in France. At least 2 dead, 600 injured.

@Rvd Slmr good on you man. That's really cool that you're going and participating in history .
Wish you guys the eat.

Thanks. I did only half of the demonstrations, but I'm planning on not missing one now.

Wonder if any of you guys can get a patrion going for these protesters?

There is quite a heated debate about this. The government complained and pressured Leetchi (a French equivalent of GoFundMe) into closing several online fundraisers, such as for the epic boxer who punched a few cops. It's not even illegal, the French law only forbids you to do a fundraiser to pay fines, but you are perfectly allowed to do it to pay for legal fees, especially since the guy hasn't been judged yet and must be considered innocent until he's declared guilty. Leetchi will still give the money that was already raised to pay for the boxer's legal fees (but he won't get it personally, the excess money will be given back to the backers). Considering it was over 100.000 euros, it is more than enough for such a case so it doesn't change anything for him that it was stopped. It is still a bad and worrying precedent.

This is a lot of over time and injuries for some of the police. How are they holding up? They tired, angry, want to beat up the protesters what's up?

They threatened to go on strike in December and they got a raise between 120 and 150 euros a month the same day. Good for them, probably the fastest and most successful social conflict in France's history. The government was so scared to lose their obedience that they immediately yielded.

It's sad how biased the financial service companies are. Any wiff of right wing and they cut off the party from funding.
Any links? I'd like to give, but don't know French .

The police Def earned their pay. 120 euros ain't much, should have asked for more.
I'm sure a lot are getting worn down and injured. Getting your shield hit in the cold is hard on the shoulders. Plus that guy who guy hit by the boxer, that's happened a bit to many police. That damage adds up and you don't just recover right away from that.

Christophe Dettinger: Fundraising for 'yellow vest' boxer ends after outcry

Honestly, I don't think the political side would have changed anything about the government's reaction. Macron is a centrist, not a leftist. If anything, his government and actions are center-right.

120-150 euros a month is about a tenth of the minimal wage. As a permanent raise that they gained just by complaining and waiting a few hours, it's a pretty good deal IMO. They also get their overtime paid, the government was very late about that so they gave a new calendar to resolve the issue.

It's time for my weekly report! It started pretty nicely, lots of people, more than last week. Not a lot of cops during the days and we did a pretty long route through the city (not in Paris). Things started heating when night fell and we gathered near the city hall, which has always be the heart of the demonstrations. Cops have big mounted bullet-proof glass walls that they install every Saturday, held by armoured vehicles mounted with water canons.

It was amazingly apocalyptic : lights from the cathedral, fireworks from the Gilets Jaunes and the huge light spot from a circling police helicopter. I wanted to upload my pictures, but the button isn't appearing right now...

The rioters broke into and destroyed a police recruitment center, wanted to burn it from the inside but there were flats above it and one of the inhabitant went to his window and scream that families lived there (not related to the cops). So the dudes took all the furniture outside and made a bonfire with it. It was brutal and mesmerizing. I was next to it, even peeked my head inside, and of course the cops retaliated with tear gas. One canister fell just a few meters from me, but I was saved by the wind. I got gassed later, but nothing as bad as last week.

When I left, the main cortege was pushed around the city by teargas and police manoeuvres. The demonstration was moving toward a place near a police station and some people talked about attacking it, but I don't know if they were just boasting or if they actually did it. I'm checking the news.

It's a superb idea but there is sadly a bullshit law that makes its illegal to prepare "too much", which is very vague and abused, for a demonstration. I don't think it ever happened, but the cops will arrest you if they catch you with a leaf-blower.

EDIT : Still can't upload my pictures, but here are some videos from other sources, taken almost exactly where I was at some point.

Edit 2

Official police numbers (usually the lowest estimations) are 82.000 people today, when it was about 50.000 last week. The movement is not fading, it's growing back!

Long live fire! One of France's best punk anthems from the 80's.

"Brah, I'm just here to blow leaves, what are these other people doing here?"

Looks like theyre blaming the jews now

Lol, why because Rothchild has a Jewish name, this is blaming the Jews.

That video was great, it is saying what we all know, the media is a controlled propaganda office.

I saw a source that said 50,000 just in Toulouse.

I always clarify that I use police numbers. It's always the lowest estimate, but their methods are consistent so it's useful to see the ups and downs. Honestly, 50,000 seems like a lot for Toulouse, a city with less than 500,000 inhabitants even if people from smaller towns around always join the protests.

This is what you voted for, France.

Burn till you learn.

I can tell you exactly the same thing with your brilliant Brexit and your magnificent way of handling it.

At least we voted for Brexit and voted against the globalist agenda.

You cucks voted for Macron.

Naw man. The french understand that the government is accountable to them on more than 1 day every 4 years.

If you vote for the globalist candidate, don't complain when he raises taxes and mass migrates millions of Africans.

Le Pen was talking about closing mosques and deporting people connected to terrorism.

Macron was talking about "Destiny with Africa"

It was a pretty clear choice, and the French chose Macron.

You make your bed, now you get to lie in it.

Stop voting for pussy left wing parties, it's as simple as that.

"But but, I don't wanna be wacist" ... pussies

Lol, you want to think they are protesting immigration, but they aren't. They are protesting the war on the middle class that has been going of for decades, no matter what sock puppets is in power.

Theresa May is apart of the conservative party in the UK. If the right is the answer, then why is the UK still in the EU?

As people we can only vote who is in front of us. The least we can do is vote right and stop voting left.

Macron is not a leftist, he's clearly center right. That's actually how he won : the Socialist and Republican primaries both elected their candidates most on the left and on the right, leaving a huge empty space at the center. And when the Republican candidate, who was almost guaranteed to win, got caught in an embezzlement scandal, Macron stole the last few needed points from him and ended-up facing Le Pen in the second round. Macron didn't win on his program, but because he got pretty lucky and the others fucked-up. Anyone facing Le Pen in the second round was guaranteed to win.

Le Pen is just making a career, like her father. They know they'll always be relevant while never having to be in charge of anything serious, their program is just wind and even them barely know what's inside (just like 99% of the foreigners praising Marine because some pundits told them she was anti-Islam, when a good part of the French far right calls her Malika Le Pen). If she had won, MLP would have been just as confused as the Brexit heralds who refused to take part in actually doing it after they won the referendum. Also she wouldn't have gotten the majority at the National Assembly, making her powerless like all Presidents who couldn't get a Prime Minister from their side.

I love the way French sounds in music. The lead girl needs a kiss; and mentioning a name of somebody believed to have undo influence over the media is now blaming the jews? I see we are expanding that definition now.

It's going to have to be independent right.. The establishment right is as bought and paid for as the left, and will not fix the problems these fine folks are complaining of. The right has assisted in the super-rich parasiting off the white(ish) middle class for decades.

I disagree.

If white people voted for their own self-interests at the same rate as black people, then the political system would have to change to accommodate them.

Black people voted 96% democrat, Muslims in the UK overwhelmingly vote for labour.

White people, there are too many pussies that keep voting left.

I hope millions more Muslims and Africans migrate to Europe and f**k everything up so badly that people will have no choice but to stop voting left. People, especially white western people, just don't fucking learn and keep voting for left, globalism and mass migration. They deserve everything they get.

Macron is absolutely a leftist. Look at his immigration policy and his "destiny with Africa" comments. Nothing right wing about him at all.

Le Pen would have saved France and Europe. Brexit had just been voted for, Trump has just won and the West was finally "waking up" .... until the French put a halt to everything and voted Macron, completely destroying the momentum of the populists .... all because "we dont wanna look wacist" ... haha, cucks.

No sympathy from me at all. I hope millions and millions more Africans migrate to France. The native French will be taxed to death to pay for them and their offspring. Good!

The French have thrown down the gauntlet to the English; let's see how they respond when Parliament ignores the will of the majority and Brexit is cancelled. The English are usually apathetic. It's been years since there were any major riots. One can only hope they rise to the challenge: slaughter any police who try to stand in their way. Burn the Houses of Parliament to the ground with the MP's locked inside. And then piss on their ashes.

I'm already stockpiling extra supplies of popcorn and beer:)
The small bandwagon Yellow vest in England are 2 opposite groups with one being right wing and the other being ANTIFA so expect both Yellow Vests fighting each other when really they should be united to fight the governments be it Conservative and Labour.

The left-right dichotomy can't be boiled down to simply just a stance on immigration. If anything this is a protest against the anti-democratic "centrism" that is spreading in the western world and Macron is a perfect example of. From what I understand it's not simply a protest against immigration because mass-immigration to the west is just a symptom of a deeper issue. Why not treat the disease instead?

We have handed over policy-making to a very detached political and banking class in Europe. Unpopular market based "solutions" are forced through because they serve special interests and from what I've seen this is the economical exploitation the yellow vests are really rising up against.

Mass-immigration is not a devious agenda to erase western people from history. In the hands of policy makers it's simply just a way to expand a growth based economy, increasing the workforce, and issues that comes along with it are just secondary and peripheral; it will just sort itself out in the end because humans in this context are simply an economic entity, not a cultural or social one. That the policy-makers have found "useful idiots" that will work against their own interests is a seperate issue and just going after the "useful idiots" will solve nothing. Mass-immigration in itself can never be leftist economical policy, at best as a tool to break down capitalism. It suppresses wages and weakens the working-class position against big capital.

What we have is neo-liberals masked as leftists making policy decisions in their name and sadly it is working. You could even say the left wing and right wing have been erased and replaced by a centrist soup beholden to the "market".

That's awesome man. Good for you for taking part. Utterly unacceptable how this is being swept under the rug by media outside of France

I also want to point out that I'm glad cooler heads prevailed with the starting a fire at the recruitment center. Protests (and hell, a little rioting here and there) are great and needed by the people. But starting a big fire in a building that can spread would put lives at risk and is far across the line and would start to harm the yellow vests support there.

Voting right in Europe is currently the correct thing to do; I wasn't disagreeing with you, in full. But the establishment in both sides has been allowed to become "established" by the "suck the contributing middle class dry" super-rich and its corporate media; pc corp law is the law of the land within both establishments. A people's movement outside it all is necessary.

At least we voted for Brexit and voted against the globalist agenda.

You cucks voted for Macron.

Lot of good it did us. There's not a snowball's chance in Hell of May winning the vote tomorrow. And after she loses, Crobyn will call yet another fucking general election. At most, we'll get another Referendum; the politicians will just keep asking the question until they get the answer they want.

Brexit is as dead as May's political career.

They are definitely protesting migration. Hence why the migrants don't join them. Nobody wants to talk about the "dark side" of the protests in the news.

Native French people from small towns and villages started these protests. Why them? Bc they are sick of paying more taxes each year, pay For migrants with their hands out. WHo ruin France. They are done with the maximum insult

The new gas tax, only 11% was really going to green cause. The rest? Migrants. It was time to say go fucking home.
