I used Ringside Int'l 16 and 18oz training gloves extensively, as well as Ringside IMF Tech 16oz training gloves.
Int'ls feel broken-in, are larger in proportions (18 are freakin' huge), and are a quality glove. I am almost positive that these gloves went for $79.99 or less during recent sales, and would expect them to return to this sale price before long.
IMF's are much more compact, with a stiffer punch to them. If I was going to land a punch, I'd prefer IMF's for both hand protection as well as damage. Also, the blocking surface is more reasonable. In the future, I will likely use 16oz IMF tech Training gloves for all of my training needs. I currently have lace ups for sparring, but when my IMF Bag gloves need replacing, I will buy hook and loop Training gloves. The hand protection of the IMF Training 16 is much greater than the IMF Bag 14's. The IMF Bag gloves are among the best bag gloves I've used (f'd up hand using borrowed Title, Ringside Ult Classic also great), but due to increased padding and conditioning benefits, I see no reason not to use IMF Training gloves for all gym use. The only reason I'm not using them now is to keep the padding from getting too dense for sparring.
