Rin Nakai showed Bushido Spirit and can hold her head high, despite her... "peculiar" style.
She obviously should have finished with that kata gatame in the second, or scored a takedown plus work earlier in the third (guessing that the latter would have changed the judges' overall opinion: but then you hear a 30-27).
Granite chin and solid judo are still there.
Her weaknesses and what she would need to change/do to improve as an mma fighter are not a mystery, but all the hints suggest that she is destinied to remain a colourful character in a context.
