Idiots Like many people who thought Bethe had an actual chance, the average fan. the ufc are good at hyping. They'll have Tate 3 though on a stacked card, most likely the January card, throw CM Punk on there also, get the WWE fans excited. Embarrassing... Unless it happen a week after the Tate fight, no one cares. Wasting everyone's time with that rubbish. It would just be better for the ufc to make a 145 division, and have the likes of Zigano go up there and challenge Cyborg for the belt, then play the Ronda/Cyborg feud till they actually fight.
Her last 2 fights were horrible. She showed 0 ability to KO fighters and with 0 KO ability Rousey will steamroll her in less than a minute. This is the "ONLY" fight to make. Either Rousey wins and cements her legacy as being the GOAT in WMMA or she loses to Cyborg and Cyborg becomes WMMA's GOAT.
There were practically none before she even came to the UFC. Zingano is the only relatively credible new face she has fought since debuting in the octagon (and even she dropped 2 straight rounds to Tate before catching her and was getting brutalized by Nunes). Alexis Davis is ok too but Sara McMann (who has done nothing in MMA), Bethe, and Carmouche are all scrubs. It's not like Cyborg is fighting anyone better; women's mma is just not there yet and people need to accept it. EDIT: LOL @ people suggesting Holly Holm has a shot. Might as well send a pre-payment to the UFC to watch that squash match if you are that gullible
I don't remember anyone but trolls claiming Bethe could beat Rousey, even when Bethe was taking out the Horsewomen no one gave her a chance against Rousey. Everyone including Rousey haters(well dislikers? hate may be too strong) like me never expected her to get out of the first minute. Tate and Zingano are the only real challengers and Tate while very tough just doesn't have the skill or tactical brain to beat her and Zingano screwed up so bad she needs a few fights before even PR masters like the UFC can market a rematch. Pena in a few years maybe(if Rousey sticks around), Holly Holm has been a disappointment after all the hype and Rousey wants nothing to do with Cyborg. Maybe have Rousey have some time off and make a film or two while they hype up some new faces.

There was never a legit opponent for Rousey. But Holm's undefeated and has had a couple of (extremely boring) UFC fights so far. Let Rousey crush her next, maybe by the time that's over Cyborg will stop ducking.
