I know all of these hall of fame articles are just talk, but I thought Rickson was a really silly selection. He tapped a bunch of nobodies and his best win is Funaki, whose resume should put him ahead of Rickson anyway.

Tough to say.

I'll go with yes because of his contributions to MMA.

Based solely on his professional career? No.

Just because YOU haven't heard of them doesn't make them nobodies. Who the fuck did Johnny Unitas play but a bunch of nobodies and Joe Namath? Every sport starts somewhere and the pioneers that made it happen are easily forgotten by people with no sense of history.

Rickson tapped Chuck Norris, and scores of other people, in Pre-UFC exhibition matches. They sent his little brother Royce into UFC 1 to make a point, that the littlest Gracie could still own everyone else, but Royce and everyone else will tell you that Rickson was far far better than he was.

Truthfully Helio Gracie should be in an MMA HoF by now as well, since that man gave more to MMA than any other single human being, and he had a better record than all of the P4P greats of today (losing only one time in decades of fighting).

There is no HoF Bro.

Only a UFC HoF.

But I agree, if there was an MMA HoF both Helio and Rickson SHOULD be in it.

Well it's still something lol. He fought him twice if that's something.
What it means is that those two fights are probably works.

Takada was a show, not a fighter.

you're a *** if you're gonna call yuki nakai a nobody, ts.

in an MMA hall of fame definitely rickson.

rickson takada at pride 1 shaped the future of pride.
