Yeah I thought it was a pretty good flick. It sure as hell beats the first one by a mile. It had a bunch of weird little cameo appearances too, Stan Lee is in it for a very short scene, so is Lou Ferrigno (the guy who played the Hulk on the old 70's tv show-he's still enormous) and they even played that cheesy sad song from the old 70s show whenever he has to skip from town to town.

Anyone care to enlighten me on the "weird stomach thing" Rickson does? I've never seen Choke so I'm pretty curious.

Here you go dude, towards the end of his workout he does these crazy breathing exercises and basically starts...I don't know what you want to call it, doing things with his abdomen that probably 99% of humans on the planet can't do. I have no idea what purpose it serves, but it just further shows what a freak Rickson is.

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/tTi_E78DSK4&hl=en"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/tTi_E78DSK4&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

"Choke" is actually a pretty good documentary about the Japan Vale Tudo 1995 tournament, it looks at a variety of fighters, but Rickson is the heavy favorite and they spend a lot of time interviewing him, filming him and stuff. Plus the video was my first introduction to Yuki Nakai (one of the fighters in the tournament) and ever since I've been a huge Yuki Nakai fan.

The exercise Rickson does is called "nauli", it's an advanced yoga technique.

Whoa. That is badass! I figured it was maybe some kind of way to massage organs. Thanks for that link. I've already been very interested in yoga (practice it but no where near as seriously as I'd like) and that is something I've got to learn how to do.

LOL I was just about to say how I could beat the Hulk but since he is a BJJ BB I know I will lose.

I heard the stomach exercise is so that when you are stacked you can move your muscles and free up movement to get out.
