Lamas doesnt have the chin to compete with Conor, and he knows it. Dude will never see a title fight again, just not quite good enough for that level, the Aldo/Mendes/Edgar/Conor level.

Lamas is a pretty big FW as Conor and Lamas is a decent wrestler and he has good BJJ skills, he have pretty good chances against Conor

He's a good guy, I love how he didn't just talk shit about Mcgregor. Since he did the video, it shows he's a good sport... I didn't really like the comment that he was nowhere near fighting shape when Aldo got injured... For athletes (especially fighters), your career is so short that imo you should almost never stop until you decide to retire IF your goal is to be the best.. Of course there's injuries that happen and you need to recover, but being completely out of the gym like many fighters do when not in camp will not progress you (we leave Jon Jones out of this, THOUGH ALL of his fights are much more competitive now). You'll only have to ability to be close to as good as you were in your last physical peak... Now he DID just have a baby so obviously that could have something to do with it, but Ricardo has been known to blow up a bit between fights.

Always liked Lamas, he is an underrated fighter in my opinion, and he seems like a genuinely nice and approachable dude with a sense of humour.

I believe Lamas is way better fighter than people give credit, I think his problem is the metal part of the game

He was the dark horse of the division that went undefeated at FW before fighting Aldo. But I see him like Okami in that he will be beat by the top fighters and stopping some fighters that are trying to take his place.
