    Is Rhonda really a "fighter"?
Don't fighters win some and lose some but come back to fight again because that's what fighters do . It's not like she is old or had so many wars . Why wouldn't she continue to fight ? Holly lost 2 in a row but she is fighting again. I think she should fight Shevchenko. And continue to fight . Rhonda seems to me like the spoiled kid who only wants to play her way and when she don't get her way she has a tantrum.

Ronda is a great athlete but a terrible person. Her fan base is very polarized and at this point even some locals are starting to jump ship,.she lacks the proper support to make a successful comeback. Heck her own mother wants her to retire.

A real fighter knows how to deal with losses.

We'll see what she really has now.

She is one of the worst people in the sport.

Look to the other women as good examples but not her.

A sulking bully through and through.

Schevchenko would finish her too. If she does come back she would be better off fighting Pena IMO.

Yes, this really needed its own thread and couldn't have been posted in the countless threads already existing

Her fans and associates built her up to such a great, exaggerated height that she felt invincible on a crazy level. When Holly made her come crashing down she had way further to fall than most fighters and she may never recovery from it. To question Ronda being a "fighter" makes me believe you're mildly retarded though, she is probably in such a state at the moment that if you approached her she would probably answer your question without thought of a lawsuit.

How many UFC fighters would continue to fight if they didn't need the money.

Ultimately the UFC put too much pressure on her. Same with Conor, Paige and Sage. Let them fight. Let them become something great if they earn it. Stop trying to force it. Anderson Silva and GSP didn't become great fighters through marketing they became great fighters through fighting. This idea that you can create a star in MMA doesn't work. They create themselves.

You'd have to be a fucking moron to lump Conor in with the rest of these cans.

for a significant period of time, ronda was prime tyson and truly transcendental

on account of this, her natural mentality, being build up by coaches, the mainstream media and whorish mouth pieces like rogan and white

there existed a massive dissonance between ronda's idea of herself... and reality

that gap has now been closed resoundingly and i can only imagine how painful the reconciliation is

i dont think she is coming back again because she will always be chasing a dragon she will never catch

I believe GSP, Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen (just to name a few) all did it for quite awhile.

It doesn't matter really as we will never see her fight again. The interesting question to me is does this taint her popularity with Hollywood? That door only opened because she was lauded as this great warrior and champion, which has obviously vaporized.

Champions with champions mentality. Literally the dumbest post I've ever read. Why do you think guys like Oscarr De La Hoya stayed for so long? Real fighters always get that itch for competition, and live off that high of fighting, and winning, or trying to win.

They say there's literally nothing like winning a prize fight. The high is beyond even the strongest crack cocaine. Tyson said this. Why did he continue to fight? Hell, he's from the streets of Brownsville, and came from nothing.

If Ronda can't, for whatever reason, return to what made her great, she will continue to get he ass kicked. She got where she was with judo and grappling, but somewhere along the way she was misled (or stubbornly refused advice) into exchanging strikes with better strikers.
She's lost her way. IF she can get back to her roots, and that's a big if, she might be able to regain her place, but anyone can see that striking against better strikers will never work for her.
