This is the best Jones looked in a while and it's still very close due to the fact that Reyes gassed about 10 minutes ago.

I've never seen guys turn their cardio around completely at that level. Jones also has PED cardio.

It was due to the difference in experience. Jones just had a huge mount of exp over Reyes.

Reyes was still moving ok in the 4th and 5th Jones just had more because of his exp of going 5 rounds numerous times in the past

He already beat Jones. He won the first 3 rounds and arguably even the 4th. How the fuck did Jon won that fight? Doing what? All the big strikes were being landed by Reyes.

Reyes won 1,2,3 clearly. Maybe even 4. Horrible corrupt judging. No doubt dirty Dana's handiwork. And to think that slimeball complains about boxings judging

Honestly thought he gave it away in the 1st round he had jones hurt on the fence and gave him too much respect just backing off. He possibly gets a tko right there.

Yeah. He won 3-2 on my scorecard but round 3 was very close and Jones clearly took the last two rounds - mainly because Reyes was two winded to do much of consequence outside of the first minutes of those rounds.

It's obviously because he was tired, but man, that is not how you show out in the championship rounds if you want the belt. Reyes kind of did nothing in 4 and 5.

no, he just needs to fight the way he did under the watchful eye of more competent judges. he already beat Jon.

I mean, this is pretty plainly correct. People can complain all they want, guarantee that when Reyes wakes up tomorrow, he won't be as pissed at the judges as he will be at himself.

Yeah cardio would help him win the rematch more convincingly and he’d be 2-0 against JJ

I thought Reyes won 3-2 but he needs to not take 2 rounds off against a long reigning champ that the judges will favor. Hope he gets a rematch.

Reyes was the champion, if this was a 3 rounder that iit. Would have split decision win.

A calmer first rnd from Reyes and his cardio wouldve been fine. Jones cardionisnt better, he just didnt move as much. Which I must give him props for excellent distance awareness and sliding just out of range of lots of shots

The champ took the fight imo because he came forward and took the final round.

Them sleepy ass judges dont have the attention span to watch a 5-rounder. As a challenger to a belt the fight needs to end with you making a solid statement.

Dom will learn from this. But, that approach is probably the only way to take rounds from a hard to hit Bones. You kinda need to come hard AF and start taking the fight away from Jon, its that not a fighter yet that can keep that pace for that long.....

Edit: A calmer patient Reyes in rounds 1 & 2 loses those rounds
