Reyes really impressed me with his lateral footwork, and combinations, his speed and power are impressive, his takedown defense is good stopped Jones, and Weidmans takedowns probably cause of his long ass torso lol. His flaws are mainly cardio. People need to stop judging fighters off one bad performance it is clear reyes has improved since the Volkan fight.

With Reyes & Santos LHW division is becoming interesting

Both guys looked just okay. It was the worst jones has ever looked and Reyes overachieved for sure but the division is trash and neither guy was really impressive

I never seen someone use lateral footwork like that against Jones which is actually really effective if your fighting a taller/longer guy.

Going in I felt he was just an okay LHW. He showed me a lot and I think he still has growth potential. There are some good young guys in the LHW division and hopefully those that have already lost to Jones will not allow that to be their defining moment of their MMA career.

Yeah he needs to work on his cardio, but being in there for a full 5 rounds is experience that really does help. Crazy how little experience he has considering most of his 12 fights were first round finishes

I feel like hardcore JJ fans really don't like how the fight was so close and their only way to reconcile the fight is to convince themselves that JJ isn't as good as he used to be because he's gotten older...when in reality JJ is a MUCH better and smarter fighter than he's ever been regardless of his age.
