Reyes beats any and every HW on the planet right now

Maybe its recency bias a bit, but I honestly believe it from what we just saw.

-His gas is a little suspect in the championship rounds, but nothing too crazy, especially at HW.

- His TDD is excellent. If Jones can't take you down and keep you there, no HW can.

- His power is there and his boxing is really good. He moves his head off line consistently, has great timing and understanding of angles.

..Ngannou isn't landing a bomb on him, Stipe isnt outboxing him and a Blaydes isn't dominating him on the ground.

Wasn't expecting to say all this prior to tonight, but he's the truth. Dude's a monster.

And he did get taken down by Jones couple of times so how is his take down defense excellent

Reyes is very good, but there's nothing at all that suggests he can beat HW's with wrestling pedigrees like Stipe, DC, or Blaydes in a 5 round fight. He came out hard but faded badly in the championship rounds tonight. Now imagine that against accomplished wrestlers who are 30+ pounds bigger than Jon was tonight. I don't know how you can possibly claim with confidence that Reyes would beat them.

 

Can you honestly imagine him trying to box with Ngannou?
