Rewatching The Sopranos (Ralph's Kinky Little Secret)

Rewatching this too.

Do you think Furio survived in Italy?
What really happened at the ending?

I think Furio lived. That was his family over there in Italy and it would be easy to hide it from Tony. I think the ending is that he died. He got shot most likely for killing a boss. I think NY was cool with Tony killing the boss (everyone felt he was being unreasonable with Tony) but either got mad about the way he did it or felt they would have to kill Tony after to maintain their alpha status. There was also speculation that Paulie knew it was going to happen.

Chase was no dummy, he would’ve never killed Tony Soprano off. As we see with the prequel it indicates that he wanted to continue the Soprano story. Unfortunately, James has died and we have to settle for a prequel rather than a movie/sequel.

If he hadn’t died , I could see a movie with the opening scene of Tony coming out of prison after doing 10 years and trying to reclaim his power or rebuild the Soprano Family.

They also discuss in several episodes how they think when they die it's just immediate blackness. Nothing else. Which is sort of a hint he died

Rewatched it recently Always liked the executive game.

I liked how that wanna be mobster robbed the game trying to be like Tony. Then Tony tries to give Richie a way out so he doesn't kill the kid and fucking Richie does it anyways.

Ralphie obviously shouldn't have beaten the HOOOOR to death, but Tony was wrong about that damn horse...

I've rewatched Sopranos enough that I have to finally rank it ahead of The Wire. I can just pick that show up anywhere and get into it.

i think Tony got whacked for sure, there was that guy sitting on the bar that looked like a hitter

You know, it depends what I’m watching. If I’m rewatching Sopranos, I say the Sopranos is the GOaT, when I rewatch the Wire it is the Wire. Kinda hard choosing, kinda like picking between Terminator and T2x Goodfellas or Casino.

But I think The Wire had more likable characters.

Yeah I could easily change my mind on a Wire rewatch, Sopranos just hooks me right away no matter what season. Honestly though they are different shows and great in their own right, I need to get away from fucking ranking everything all the time, that shits an epidemic lol.

Ralphie was a great character. I mean.. he was a scumbag as everybody in the show and world would have been better without him. But he was a special kind of scumbag.
its a shame paulie didnt get whacked
