That was a good performance but not dominant. Her defense got exposed as did her boxing craft. She was really successful because of her physical gifts especially handspeed. Shit head movement, defensive footwork is inconsistent, defense in the pocket could use alot of work, overrated boxing b/c ppl saw her great combinations against shit punching bags. Valerie was countering the shit out of alot of her combos, killed her output after the jabs. Kicks were good but got taken advantage of early. Claudia will easily get scoop those kicks, get her to clinch or ground and make it an ugly fight. Valerie was able to stay on top and land shots on Joanna, Claudia will do much more. She will beat Joanna

And Claudia got Joanna down on the ground in their first fight and she couldn't really do much and looked exhausted at the end of the fight
 
Valerie is a very good counter striker & was beyond underestimated going into the fight. I think she won RD1, the second was close but edged to JoJed then the rest was JoJed. Incredible how accurate she was statistically.

Don't think she's ducking Claudia either. They both keep getting injured :P

Go back and watch the first fight, you'll see Joanna was tiring had in RD 3. In a 5 RD fight that's a big threat for Joanna.
 
The first fight was close, but I feel like in a 5-round fight Joanna would be more dominate and possibly finish in the championship rounds.
 
I think Gadelha wins the rematch. But it will be a close-competitive fight like the first one.

Valerie is legit though.

Paige/Rose winner? LMAO they are at least one more fight away. Paige got fed lambs so far. The Aguilar win Claudia just got is far better than anything either of those two have done recently

Karolina shouldve lost to Inoue. She didnt win that 3rd round swinging air almost the whole time. I didnt see her last fight but that was another split decision. Randa still wouldnt deserve a shot with a win over her

Obese Carla lmfao, Penne obviously not, Calderwood hell no, Valerie, Moroz, Aguilar, Lima, Herrig lmao no.

Waterson was fed grandmas and hasnt looked impressive. If Tecia beats her she has the best case other than Claudia for a shot no one else has a case.
 
i think joanna underestimated valerie at first went for the kill too fast and after the td in r1 she started to be way more calculated and even though it didnt look like it in the moment she actually damaged valerie pretty bad

I thought that there was an argument for Val winning two rounds too. The champ clearly won the fight though, so I have no problem.
 
Claudia was injured you dumb motherfuckers. She literally could not fight. How can you duck an injured opponent? Jesus Christ!

I don't see it in a 5-rounder. Gadelha was pretty tired by the end of their first fight; I'm not sure she would be able to keep it up into the championship rounds. It's a fight that needs to happen next to settle this once and for all.

wat? you mean claudio? b/c she will almost gauranteed fall apart in a 5 round fight.

plus she doesn't have the striking of Lettterno. give me my biscuit. Cladio will just try to muscle her in the clinch again and lay on her. She's not a threat in any other way. but judges look favorably on that style so anyting can happen. biscuit.
 
Those leg kicks and some of the very hard punches and elbows at the end of round 3 changed the direction of the fight.

Credit to Valerie. She put up a very good effort. I would like to see her work her way back into a rematch down the road. Shore up a couple of things, add some elbows for the clinch, and work on some sort of take down threat in order to mix it up.

I agree with Joe Rogan on her performance, she should not be ashamed of that one. Valerie was beaten but not broken.
