Greetings and salutations readers! I'm back with a review for Ring to Cage's new Sublimated Muay Thai Shorts. Most of my purchases from Ring to Cage are for my students but sometimes I just need to treat myself to some of their newer items. It's a thank you gift to myself! Plus I wanted to see what the hoopla was about over these shorts. Why is there a need for shorts like this? Lets find out.

Well Ring to Cage does it again with materials. Soft and incredibly light, even by Muay Thai standards. The material is really nice and light (the lack of patches make it lighter compared to other shorts). It's not the regular polyester. This is strong and smooth Satin. It's been washed 5 times already and still nothing is wrong with it. The stitching is holding up from training and washing and that is good enough for me. Come to think of it. My other Muay Thai shorts have been watching countless times and have held up very well.

The fit is also different this time around for their first and second batches. I guess when you change it 3 times and each time you're trying to get it right you eventually get it. Luckily for Ring to Cage and Mohsin that 3 is the magic number. The fit of the shorts is very good. I love it. I personally think it's perfect. I usually wear an XXL in Ring to Cage but now I can fit into an XL. It'll accommodate up to 2 sizes without ever feeling too tight or too loose. The waistband is comfortable and stretchy so if it feels too loose there is the standard drawstring to keep things snug.

I really appreciate the usefulness of the 4

Flex panel thing is really cool, but I am not digging the look of these. Would definitely consider a pair if they looked a little more like the authentic Thai shorts out of Thailand.

exactly. i saw them and was interested, but they are some of the ugliest shorts i've seen. the R2C logo is huge and pretty ugly. plus the logo on the back is ugly too. their other MT shorts look fine so i'm not sure why they strayed so far away from that look.

I'm glad you guys agree. It's ok for a start but I like the look of their other shorts but when it comes to fit and feel these are slightly better.
