Retiring means you're no longer available for USADA testing.

After pouring over the details of the USADA paperwork, they've highlighted three potential loopholes for fighters still looking to stay on the juice in this new, harsher reality. The first potential loophole, retirement. As stated in section 5.7.1:

"An Athlete who gives notice of retirement to UFC, or has otherwise ceased to have a contractual relationship with UFC, may not resume competing in UFC bouts until he/she has given UFC written notice of his.her intent to resume competing and has made him/herself available for Testing for a period of four months before returning to competition. UFC may grant an exemption to the four-month written notice rule in exceptional circumstances or where the strict application of that rule would be manifestly unfair to an Athlete."

So you are saying Conor retired so he can miss UFC 200, juice himself out of his mind for a while, tell them he's unretiring, wait 4 more months in which he will likely be tested again, and then fight?

Edit: just saw the UFC can make exceptions part. Lmao shouldn't it be USADA who makes that exception???

I may get banned one day for "fighter bashing" but I refuse to ignore obvious stuff.

Georges has taken something. Sometime in his career, he has been on something which is classified as a PED. If I could somehow guarantee that I'd get the truth out of him, I would bet the house on it.

You do not look like he does without something being put into you. Definitely doesn't help looking like that and having so many wins that you are a perennial "greatest of all time" candidate.

"Retires" the minute USADA comes into play. Makes a million excuses about not wanting to come back, including one of the excuses being "USADA is good, but it's still not good enough".

Now he's magically returning, and nobody is suspecting that he's essentially had 2 free years to dope the fuck out of himself.

None of this is proven fact, but it's my opinion.

Georges is suspect as fuck!
That could make sense if it wasn't for the fact that GSP wanted to do WADA testing for his fight with Hendricks.

There is nothing like acting like you're innocent by blaming others.

Purely eye-test, but Hendricks sure doesn't look like Georges.

If I was taking PEDs, and I looked like Johny - I'd want whatever Georges is on.

Are you saying GSP has taken something because of the way he looks? That is as ignorant as it gets...
I've had friends growing up that were easily as cut as GSP with more size. EVERYONE'S genetics are different, you simply can't look at someone and say there on something.

Eye-test doesn't work.

Have GSP used something during his career that was banned? Sure, it's possible and maybe even probable, but the fact still remain that GSP was ready to do WADA testing even before the UFC decided to bring in USADA.

His allegedly HGH gut always intrigued me.

Doesnt his biological passport mean he would be caught if that was the plan? Speaking of Conor not GSP.

No, I'm saying a guy like Conor has people making sure he's going to pass his tests. They informed him he was going to fail his next USADA test, so he retired before they were allowed to test him and he got a giant fine, a 2 year ban, and his reputation ruined.

GSP ducked testing his entire career except one fight. Why didn't he want additional testing when other were accusing him way back then.. why wait until your last fight?

Also he literally ducked USADA testing in his fight with Condit.

Well any high PAID athlete will get a notification that he's going to get tested

Maybe they realised he isn't going to pass

Worked out the loophole

$$$ everything

except thats not a potential loophole.. did you even read it?

If you offiically notify USADA you've retired, you then need to be back in the testing pool for a full FOUR MONTHS before you can fight again..

therefore, loophole is closed.

If Conor officially notifies USADA hes retired.....

Then when he returns he will have to go through four months of testing before he can fight

the article was leeched from combat law guys who a lot recently have been making a clusterfuck of interpreting the ufc anti doping policy

What about the signs of use?

Like his protruding belly, which is colloquially referred to as the HGH belly?

I've listened to loads of PED users and subject matter experts talk about how this is a symptom/side-effect to usage.

Check that out below:

Also, I'm far from ignorant. The eye-test is not a WADA test, but it tests a lot. I grew up with some tanks, but Yoel Romero, Overeem, Belfort and Lombard were all the most obvious cases ever, from eye-test alone.

What happened then? Wha-la, they were all juicing!

I understand where you're coming from, but i will say it again. You can't look at someone and say there on something it's a slippery slope that has no ending. Unless someone tests positive you have to assume there clean.

Question for you sir.

Are any PEDs beneficial in the long-term for performance without constant use?

Example:

Let's say fighter fights in the UFC from 2005 to 2012 and doesn't get any random testing, so is able to cycle off and on easily. If he then is forced to play by USADA rules, and has to stop the cycling, surely the affects and performance of that substance in his body will be somewhat long-standing or even permanent?

4 months of clean, really mean you're clean? You wouldn't have any advantages?

Ready to do it... but it never happened.

Also, eye-test worked for the below:

Belfort
Romero
Overeem
Lombard

Eye-test works, it's not 100%, it's perhaps not even 80%, but it does work to some degree when you know what you're looking for.

GSP's physique is definitely obtainable naturally. I don't know how you could think that's beyond natural.
