With another set of failed tests and the same old garbage excuse, props to Tim Sylvia for when he failed his test he owned up like a MAN.

How dumb are the fighters to think we are going to buy the same old BS?

Who cares if he owned up to taking roids? That does nothing to overshadow that he took them in the first place. Plus it doesn't matter if he owned up or not, he didn't admit to taking them until after he got busted anyway. That's not owning up, that's getting exposed

    I miss the Goobs.

But yeah, owning up to taking steroids after flunking a test is kind of like owning up to cheating on your wife/girlfriend after she catches you in bed with her sister. It's more honest but you're still a cheater.

All I'm saying is he at least had the balls to own up, instead of hiding. Alot of fighters should learn from the way Sylvia dealt with his PED scandal.

I do respect the guys who just say "yep, you got me."

They're still cheaters, but at least they're being respectable about it.

Agreed. Also, this is not his first time getting caught. Tim's career is seriously in the toilet right now.

It's a sad day for Sylvia's career when he's more respected for owning up to taking steroids than for his accomplishments in the sport. Hopefully he finds his way back from super heavyweight to actual fighting shape, and finishes his career in style rather than in shame.

He was caught. What is his options from there? Keep denying it, and claiming the test was rigged against him?

No admitting it after you get caught is just as useless as being Jose Canseco and admitting it after you've retired. Lying about it until you have no other choice then deciding to be honest means nothing

Goob was actually a really good poster minus his obsession with Timmah

Or that you bought a tainted batch of Syntha-6 at GNC.

    Tainted Vitamin B-12 shot.

Get what you're saying but he'd get my respect for not taking them in the first place.

It would've been funny if he really pushed this angle, and then got sued by GNC for everything he was worth, for defamation and libel.

2 weight champ, stopped Prime Hughes and fought above his weight. GSP was happy to fight a lighter BJ, IMO he should go and fight Silva.
