The protest was to "stop the steal", except there was no steal. They had every opportunity to prove one and failed at each turn. Long past the time he should have accepted his fate, congratulated the President Elect and given his best wishes for the good of the country he chose instead to continue a narrative of fraud, corruption and a stolen election. It ultimately led where everyone knew it was going.
