Does what he wants to, when & where he wants to & makes more money each time ............ not bad IMO
Yeah when you think about it, his career worked out better than he could have possibly envisioned.
Joined the WWE and due to his NCAA background and monstrous physique received an absolutely huge push. Became a star and won the belt. He hated the lifestyle though so he bailed but was able to parlay the fame from WWE into a fast-tracked MMA career.
He became an even bigger star in the UFC and won the belt. Then when he left and negotiated with the WWE again, he had the huge cachet of his status as a ppv draw to get the much more limited contract that basically allowed him to avoid all the things that had most pissed him off about being a pro wrestler the first time around.
Now if he wants to go back to MMA, UFC will welcome him back with open arms and open wallets.
