Yeah but Goldberg was a play by play guy where as Dominick is a color commentator, not the same thing.

The problem is Goldberg can't actually do play by play. In other sports that position requires calling the action but Goldberg didn't actually know what he was watching so Rogan carried him during his entire UFC run.

True, the roles in the UFC aren't applied like they are in other sports but Goldberg was endearing enough in his ignorance it made him very likable.

Rogan has plenty of his own issues like claiming someone is "hurt" when they weren't even hit and "that's tight, this fight is over....... OMG, he's out, I can't believe he escaped from that".
