The history of whites buying black slaves (from other Africans as well as from the Arabs) is very embarrassing.
However, when given the choice, how many African Americans move back to Africa because they think their family will have a better life there? Not so many, right?

In many places, such as some of the villages of Afghanistan, literacy is a rarity.
