It may not be as bad as a Barboza wheel kick KO, but getting choked unconscious is BAD for your brain.

Everyone taps. Sooner or later. Especially those that earn money from fighting. Only ones that won't tap are those who don't care about their rest of fighting life or the ones that represent a martial art like BJJ and too proud of their art to tap in public.

Helio Gracie's fighting life ended because he refused to tap as the founder of BJJ. Some other fighters' fighting life ended because they didn't care about it in the first place. Now they won't even be able to beat a random dude from the street.

Don't worry about tapping. Worry about getting knocked out. It's OK to tap but you shouldn't get knocked out. That permenantly damages your brain and you'll look like a soft choir boy that can't take a punch in the eyes of masses.

That said, I must admit tapping to strikes like GSP is really for pussies. That's the worst scenerio for a fighter.
