Remember when people used to talk about actual matchups/fights/what happens in the cage on here?

instead of all this UFC 200 drama lately. I'm guilty of it too but now I'm over it, sooooo........Can we talk about some of the actual matchups slated for coming months?

Werdum-Stipe?
Jacare-Vitor?
Silva-Hall?
Maia-Brown?
Rockhold-Weidman 2?
Cruz-Faber?
RDA-Alvarez?

what are your picks/thoughts?

Lead the way, dude...

Say something interesting.

I could see Silva/Hall being really good or really bad.. it just seems like one of those fights that looks great on paper.

I'm just trying to stir the pot here, but let's start with a pick for an upset. Of the matchups I mentioned above, I'd say that seeing Brown upset Maia would be the least surprising. I think Matt Brown is underrated.

I see Silva returning to form vs Hall.

I think Jacare will sub Vitor.

And I want Werdum to keep winning until, fingers crossed, they can set up a rematch with Fedor in the UFC. I am glad Werdum is finally getting his due as an all time great HW.

I've been thinking the same. They are both counter strikers, so it could turn out to be very boring, however, both are in serious need of a win, so I think they *should* come out aggressively.

I'd love to see Anderson go on one more run before he retires, and he needs this win to do it.

On the other hand, Hall has been close to moving in to the top tier of MW, but takes a loss every time he gets there, so he needs this win as well.

So, I don't have a strong prediction either way, but hopefully they will both show up for a fight rather than a dance.

TS - How did I do?

Stipe by KO/TKO
Jacare by sub
Maia by decision
Hall by decision
Rockhold by KO/TKO
Cruz by decision
RDA by KO/TKO

Silva/Hall just reminds me of Pettis/Alvarez and we know how that one turned out lol. I love Anderson, but there is always a risk of a boring fight. I really hope this one is good.

Im looking forward to all of those fights! Hah.. That's the best I can do, at the moment.

Stipe - early KO
Jacare - sub
Hall - somehow
Maia - BJJ
Weidman - domination
Cruz - dec
Alvarez - dec

Yeah sick and tired of all these Conor threads, its so boring and dumb. so much drama. I got into MMA because of the skill and the fights, not all this acting drama. I am excited about all the fights you listed.

Werdum-Stipe - Stipe
Jacare-Vitor - Jacare
Silva-Hall - Hall
Maia-Brown - Maia
Rockhold-Weidman 2 - Rockhold
Cruz-Faber - Cruz
RDA-Alvarez - RDA

Rockhold TKO

Alvarez decision.
GG easy

Wow you got Stipe with the upset huh?
Wouldn't be surprised with any result for that one, but I think Stipe has solid boxing, big power, and a very good chin. If he can avoid going to the ground he night get the finish because as good as Werdoom is he still gets tagged alot. Werdoom is crafty though and has a good chin himself, should be a good fight.

But TS you was one of the guys making threads such as " Mcgregor is the Mayweather of MMA "
