    Before Cruz. Before Faber. There was Miguel Torres. He was the first real force at BW. What happened? Just didn't evolve? Game just passed him up? It's sad how forgotten Torres is. Under appreciated legend of BW IMO

    Seems like he started losing when he started facing tougher competition. Either way, to go 37-1 at any point is crazy.

    he's overrated
    four title fight wins in WEC over meh guys
    couldn't even beat a natural flyweight
    his first 33 fights are against cab drivers

    but i love torres because he is on the receiving end of one of the most soul-stealing KOs in MMA history

    I feel most had Torres over Mighty Mouse in their ufc fight. Funny how different directions can two careers head after a bad decision.

    i remember him talking about not cutting much weight, at least early in his career. he said he brought food to some weigh-ins just for fun

    he also got his knee kicked in like a year or two ago?

    Dude just made a joke from Workaholics, all of a sudden he’s a monster. Talked about it a bit with him during International Fight Week. He was a chill and funny guy, hell of a fighter, sucks it went down hill.
