Before Cruz. Before Faber. There was Miguel Torres. He was the first real force at BW. What happened? Just didn't evolve? Game just passed him up? It's sad how forgotten Torres is. Under appreciated legend of BW IMO

He certainly had a goat nutsack because he carried 260 lbs of Frank Mir around on them at all times.

Seems like he started losing when he started facing tougher competition. Either way, to go 37-1 at any point is crazy.

Did anybody besides Joe Rogan ever hop on that bandwagon?

He thought Max Holloway was the best lightweight in history last week. Rogan is gonna Rogan.

    Ronda is a once ever.

He did seem unstoppable early on. Then the derailment and that pretty much sums him up

Rogan was not a WEC commentator .That would have been Frank Mir that was all over his nutz though.

    he's overrated
four title fight wins in WEC over meh guys
couldn't even beat a natural flyweight
his first 33 fights are against cab drivers

but i love torres because he is on the receiving end of one of the most soul-stealing KOs in MMA history

I feel most had Torres over Mighty Mouse in their ufc fight. Funny how different directions can two careers head after a bad decision.

i remember him talking about not cutting much weight, at least early in his career. he said he brought food to some weigh-ins just for fun

he also got his knee kicked in like a year or two ago?

Dude just made a joke from Workaholics, all of a sudden he’s a monster. Talked about it a bit with him during International Fight Week. He was a chill and funny guy, hell of a fighter, sucks it went down hill.
