Fighting Chael, Rogan told him about his toe and that's when he felt it. Was that pure adrenaline or something else, seriously?

Hard to say. It could easily be adrenaline.

He knew about his toe, that's why he tried like hell to finish (and did). He had adrenaline from the fight to help numb the pain but it no doubt must've hurt like a bitch. He started going into shock while being interviewed by Rogan. He was experiencing tremors.

    cool story bro time

I am a microbiologist now because of this but when I was working sheet metal back before college I cut off 1/2 inch of my left ring finger and part of my pinky on a 60 ton Amada press brake bending sheet metal.

I didn't feel a fucking thing and I was 100% stone cold sober. The recovery after was god awful. But it was worth it because it made me quit my job and go back to college.

Actually I'm pretty sure Bones noticed the toe as he did his little spinning elbow shadow boxing thing. He felt it tweak and looked down, drawing Rogan's attention to it. Yeah, I remember Bones def saw it first.

No he did not know about the toe, he reacts in shock when he see it for the first time post fight while talking to Rogan.

Seeing how horrible it looks and feeling something happen to your toe are two very different things

He knew he hurt it. He may not've known it was that bad and probably didn't but he went animal on Chael for the finish.

Nothing necessarily shady there. Adrenaline is arguably a more powerful "drug" than cocaine is.

If only they administered drug tests for that fight... I guess we'll never know.

he would've been fine for another round. His corner would have just rubbed some coke on his toe.

Sounds like he's never even been hurt playing a sport. I can't even count how many times I got hurt playing football or rugby and didnt even realize it until after the game including a fractured back

I can attest to this. I remember jacking up one of my fingers on my throwing hand in a bad way. Less than a minute on the clock, no huddle offense, it didn't phase me being in the moment. After that, the pain was pretty excruciating. I was out 3 games after that.

That's straight up adrenaline and shock. Anyone who has trained at a gym for a long time has seen someone pop something out, twist something damn-near off, or have some form of mangling.... where the person seems to almost not react.

Adrenaline and Shock are a hell of a drug.
