Remember when Brian Ortega was considered the second coming of Christ at 145?

Well he's still got potential. Just because he lost to Holloway doesn't mean he's finished.

Even though he was a punching bag for most of the fight, he still had succes in round 3 after his nose was busted. He's got a good shot at beating some of the top guys. Probably not going to beat Zabit or Aldo in a 3 rounder though.

Imagine Max beating Frankie and both retiring...then Brian will indeed be the second coming of Christ.

remember when Erick Silva was considered the hottest prospect in MMA.. well he still is and so is Ortega

Styles make fights. Ortega had Holloway in some trouble for the first time in years

He was an interesting and promising prospect. He still is.

Brian Ortega had a choice. Fighting for his life in the streets or for gold and his community. I think you should give the guy some respect.

He is good but seems to be one of those guys that lose the fight and win in the 3rd round by stoppage lol
So it's a weird situation. People love finishes but people also love competitive fights lol

He's had ONE bad fight .. A lot of people have bad fights against Holloway. Other than that ONE fight, he's been very good. He's taken a fuck of a lot of time off, so it will be interesting to see what, if any, improvements he's made.

If Max wasn't in the division he'd be champ for a long time in my opinion.

Is it cuz he looks like jesus?

It was hard not to notice him after that knee KO of Frankie, which doesn't happen often.

10 years ago Brian Ortega was given a choice...
