Nearly finished by Lawler in 5 seconds
Finished by Jorge in 5 seconds
Tapped out by Maia then retires

Meanwhile Mighty Mouse is living large and Dana White free

Hendricks getting rid of Fitch and Maia getting rid of Askren are some of my best UFC memories.

People would say Ronda but I actually liked to watch her fight, win or lose.

Askren got the best style matchups possible and still lost all 3. (Yes I count the Lawler fight as a KO loss)

I've always hated Rogan but him convincing Askren to come out of retirement and get his ass kicked 3 times in the UFC will always make me smile.

It's lost so far in the mists of time that it's just a legend by this point. A legend, however, that I choose to believe.

Maia doesn't get the credit he deserves for tapping Askren into retirement. That fight sealed the deal on Askren's dreams.

Hopefully one day we'll see him take on that other young prospect from Brazil: Erik Silva.

Wrestling is the perfect base for MMA, and also the perfect background for convincing you that striking is overrated.
