“I had a vision, I saw something that no one else saw, and I went for it.”

That’s how “Vegas” Dave Oancea describes the $2.5 million payday he just took off a sports book in Las Vegas after cashing in a futures bet on the Kansas City Royals to win the 2015 World Series.

And with money like that in his pocket, the professional sports bettor, who runs his own sports wagering consulting site at itsvegasdave.com, Oancea can afford to do some things “just for fun.”

Ya know, like buy a new Bentley to park next to his Ferrari. And spend the rest of his life traveling and spending money, rather than betting it. He said he can just worry about making money for his clients now.

But he can also do fun things like bet $10,000 against one of the biggest sure things in MMA history: Ronda Rousey.

“I’ll put $10,000 on that for fun,” Oancea told MMAjunkie Radio. “I’ll put $10,000 on her every time against her and just keep doubling up, because eventually she’s going to lose – that’s my philosophy. It just takes one lucky punch. I’ll put $10,000 on her if they let me do it. I’ve got balls.”

Rousey (12-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC) headlines UFC 193 in Australia on Saturday against Holly Holm (9-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC), and as usual, she’s a heavy favorite. She’s favored more this fight, in fact, than any time before – and that includes 16-1 odds for her in her most recent fight against Bethe Correia at UFC 190. (She won that fight in 34 seconds.)

Lucky bastard

Motherfucker didn't even needed it haha.
Some guys just play life on easy mode.

and you put the word ''millionaire'' on the title, yet he just bet 1% of a million.

Yes, he bet 1% of a million, which made him probably 10-20% of a million (depending on where/when he got in), and he was a millionaire already. Last I knew, saying he is a millionaire is correct if he is a millionaire, regardless of how much he bet.

A friend of mine made 12k, lucky sumbitch.

I wish I had the money to bet with. Dammit!! I would've made more than 12k, that's for damn sure!
