Cathy bless

Her names Cathy. My name for her was "crazy unco chick".

In hind sight, I think Holly was enjoying the attention of being champ a little too much. Not counting top tier sparring partners like Cathy of course...

I don't know what unco means.

Abbreviations only work if people know what you mean. Just a hea

I think "unco" is a regional thing.

I'm from New Zealand and the term "unco" is very, very common. No one would bat an eyelid at it if used over here.

I always find it fascinating when a term you think is common is completely unknown to so much of the world.

Aotearoa was also new to me so I clicked on it and apparanlty New Zealand is an island. I thought it was next to Australia without the water in between.

New Zealand (or its Maori name, Aotearoa) is actually made up of two main islands, the imaginatively named North and South islands, with several smaller islands, Stewart Island being the largest of the smaller islands.

I live in Auckland, but I'm currently in the bright lights of Palmerston North for work.

Im from Auckland too, but im living in Perth now cause of better work opportunities.

Haha, "the bright lights of Palmerston North"

John Cleese once said, "Palmerston North is the suicide capital of New Zealand". "If you wish to kill yourself but lack the courage to, I think a visit to Palmerston North will do the trick," LOL.

Haha, yup, and people in Palmy are still salty about it. I heard someone bring it up the other day.

But of course, everyone I talk to who lives here constantly talks about what a shithole it is. I started training at a local gym here and when I told the head trainer I was here temporarily for work, he nodded and said, "Yeah, makes sense. There's no other reason you'd come here... It's a shithole. Dunno why we all stay here to be honest, it's like we're trapped." Haha.

But I think it's one of those things like "I can talk shit about my family, because they're my family, but you can't." Which is why people got pissed off with John Cleese... Even if he was right.
