    These refs are way to eager to get involved. So many stand ups or seperations in the clinch. It is entertaining, but takes away from the authenticity of the fight. Baruto, for example was landing pretty harsh knees to TK's head and the ref stands them up. Baruto could have kept that shit up all round.

    I agree, but it seems to be specific to the GP fights. They let things go on way longer on the ground and in the corner in fights like Garcia vs Asakura, Wada vs France, Nascimento vs Motoya etc.

    I do think its bullshit though, as were the boos. If you dont wanna see someone fight like a 400lb sumo, then dont sign a 400lb sumo. Its like they were expecting cartwheel guard passes and spinning hook kicks.

    Maybe it has something to do with helping the out come of the fight move along. ;)
