Ref should be fired

The sad think is the gentleman fighter doesn´t got another fight..

MMA would award him with another fight if He brutalice the already out oponent to death.

God I want to be referee, best seat in the house and next to no experience required apparently.

Clear Von Flue choke. This is from a while back. Ref should have known better

It's not as great as you might think. You don't get to enjoy the best seat in the house. You're watching, but you are looking for different things and not 'enjoying' what you are seeing like when you watch as a fan.

Well, in fairness to the ref.... grappling and submissions are fucking boring.... so people don't usually even watch that stuff anyway.
I couldn't really even blame the ref if he was leaning over the cage side and placing an order with the wait staff to get a hamburger and fries or something.

I agree it would be intense, I still think I would be better than Mazzagatti lol.

If you find it that boring, you shouldn't ref then. :D

It's hard to say. The guy seemed like he was moving around. But up close you think he'd have heard the grunting that happens when guys get choked out or perhaps seen his eyes glaze over. I couldn't tell initially that he was out, at least not from the video.

That guy was a class act.

I can't imagine how many fighters would've taken the opportunity to kill him.

Dude was actually arguing with the ref on his behalf.

Don't see the point in the outrage it looked like the dude was moving can't really fault the ref on that one.

I'm a teacher, I was taking a boxing conditioning class once and while we were doing a stretch that I couldn't do well the "coach" commented I must sit at a desk all day. I said no I'm a teacher, he responded with "yea you sit at a desk all day."

The point, he obviously doesn't know what it's like to teach (in a real class, not some hollywood portrayal).

My point, we shouldn't pretend to think we know what it takes to ref a fight. The ref's pov is different than our own. So sometimes if they stop a fight too soon, or too late it's because from their pov they saw something different than the rest of us. No need to call for his firing.
