If JDS wants the fight so bad, he can wait.

And thats why Dana wants to wait too - the injury will set him back a few WEEKS....not months....its not that big of a deal.

The fight was scheduled for May, Overeem requested July.


Also, as an Overeem fan - JDS is a very tough match-up BUT ANYONE WHO THINKS OVEREEM IS DUCKING IS OUT OF THEIR MINDS!

The guys fought Lesnar, Werdum, Cro-Cop, Kharitonov, Hunt, Bigfoot, Shogun, Chuck, Igor - he was actively pursuing a Fedor fight.

HE IS ANYTHING BUT SCARED!
 
A few weeks? Why move the fight at all.
 
yeah....thats what I said.....its 5 weeks. End of May moves to begining of July. Big deal!!

What happens in 5 weeks when reems testosterone levels are still not normal and he makes up another excuse to postpone the fight?

At the end of the day, its about $ - you think Overeem is gonna keep pulling out till hes fired?

Are you serious? He might want to get a training camp in before he fights...give me a break, you idiots are ridiculous. He needs time to train in order to be 100% for the toughest fight of his career.
 
Who knows, his injury could be legit, but after reading that his testosterone levels were low for his last fight, and now he says he has an injury. It just kind of makes me wonder. Im not saying he's scared, Hell i wouldnt blame him for not wanting to fight til his levels are normal. Its not like he can actually come out and say that he wants to postpone the fight because of his testoterone levels, knowing he wont get an exception to use trt.
 
Reems ego won't be healed up until April. It's been nagging him ever since the Bigfoot fight. He shouldn't have rushed it. ;)

Yeah, your post about Reem's period is serious business. Come on, we both know if they fight JDS would get ruined, so he wants to take an earlier fight vs Schaub maybe.

I've not really followed this, but I have to ask- what sort of injury requires only a few weeks of healing, yet is sufficient to throw off an entire training camp? Didn't Andy fight with a cracked rib or something and yet here 'Reem is saying it's so serious he can't train, yet he'll be 100% in just a few weeks?
I can't think of maybe a sprained ankle or something like that, but I wouldn't think a fighter would pull out over a sprained ankle.
 
Lol Reem fought Badr Hari under his own rules when Hari was a murderer. Why would he be scared of JDS?
