Reebok deal vs Bellator. True answer?

Reebok is great for Bellator.

Before, Bellator could only, at a push, match what the UFC was offering fighters. Now they can offer more, a lot more.

For all there over-the-top pyrotechnics, Bellator is building a pretty solid roster of fighters.

They have home-grown talent: Minakov, Newton, McGreary, Koreshkov, Lima, MvP, Chandler, Held, Pitbull, Curran, Straus, Honeycutt...

They have ex-UFC fighters who still have some fight left in them: Davis, Kongo, Carmont, Koscheck, Guillard, Thomson..

And, of course, they a set of freaks they can wheel out to pull in some viewers: Tito, Bonnar, Kimbo, Lashley, James Thompson...

Business is better than ever for Bellator, and it's going to keep getting better now the UFC is in bed with Reebok.

They are leaving cause they can get better deals elswhere, no one choses to leave the UFC for less money and both Phil Davis and Josh Thomson chose to leave the UFC, the UFC tried to resign both but they got better deals with Bellator.

JT could just as easily be 3-1 in his last 4 if he had a different set of judges for his fights against Henderson and Green.

The UFC will keep who they want and let the others go by not matching the deal(Phil Davis) or simply not offer a new deal to fighter's they can afford/don't care to lose. Koscheck is almost 40 and on a 5 fight losing streak and Thompson is up there with age as well already thought about retiring and is on a 3 fight losing streak.
