He liked it when it first came out, but how his opinion mirrors that of mine (which I posted on here after the midnight release). Glad to see he got over the hype and came to his senses.

Awesome, his prequel reviews were outstanding, will watch this tonight.

He spends the first hour talking about the prequels again. We get it man, get on to the latest one.

Basically, Episode 7 was a missed opportunity. They played it safe and made an average Star Wars movie. Disney owns the whole thing now and they're gonna churn films out like the Marvel shit. But that's okay, these are movies made to sell toys to children/man children.

George Lucas could have turned it into something on a larger, more mythological scale, like Lord of the Rings, but we got the Prequels instead. Star Wars has become the very thing it swore to destroy.

It'll take some movie studio going crazy and giving an independent production company a seemingly insane amount of money, rolling the dice on an original idea, before we see anything that captures the essence of what was at the heart of the original trilogy.

It's like poetry so that they rhyme.
