All I know is the cocaine thing is just a funny irony given his old stance on drugs and bad behavior.

The T/E thing concerns me as fan of MMA... not that it surprises me.

It's both. I really think Jones going from zilch to "next big thing" to champ so quickly and young has made him a legit crazy person. He seems narcissistic and emotionally unstable and he just seems to be a disaster in his personal life.

I'm not familiar enough with the connection between coke and ped masking to make a decision. Can you elaborate a bit?

    Coke for recreational use.

    PED masking for PEDs

Why do the 2 have to be linked?

    This.

MMAjunkie has a good article where they ask a professional about the low T and the only thing he could think of to cause it would be using a masking agent, and said a CIR test is needed.

Pffft, clearly just a dodgy supplement. God knows what they put in that stuff.

Coke isn't gonna cover up peds. Assuming jones's low t/e ratio indicates ped use, I think he's just using the coke on the side for fun

I don't care about the recreational coke use. I do care that the test results seem to indicate possible PED use.

I am still not sure of the intent of the leaking of the cocaine results was to cover up the inevitable questions surrounding the T/E ratio. Or if those results were released to expose the abnormal hormone test results.

Cocaine is amazing for competition. It clears your mind completely, takes away the pain, and gives you incredible selfesteem. For reactiontime and competition it is absolutely incredible. It was very popular in amateur kickboxing in my days, and is by far the best help to stay focused - even when hit directly on the chin, your mind will stay clear.

The bad part is that it is a very expensive ped, and it is easy to use it too often, and in too many arenas, since it is so great, so it means you can get hooked on it.

Not uncommon in full contact sports or sports like tennis, where reactiontime is important.

He has a lot in common with the Lindsay Lohans and the Justin Beibers of the world. Life is a big party when looking down at everyone else (as in "top of the world"), if you want it to be.

Nothing would surprise me at this point with Jones.
I'd put my money on both recreational drug use as well as some sort of masking agent.

The dude already has enough money, though...

So, are people who think he used it for both suggesting: he started off with a bad coke habit, then found out you could use coke to mask PEDs, saw it as a two-fer?

There have been rumors online for a few years (3?) he's been using coke for personal use.

Or do you think he started using coke to mask PEDs, and that created the habit for recreational use, the lines between his professional and personal life getting blurred.
