    Hey all,

Just wondering what your recovery days look like?

I tend to do some foam rolling, mobility drills and finish of with some static stretching.

Just wondering what others do, and get some new ideas!

In all seriousness though, if recovery days are the same thing as rest days, I tend to do very little, just relax and recharge, ready for the next session.

I hate taking days off altogether, even though its probably slightly detrimental to do so. I just do LISS, stretching, and hit the pool/hot tub on "active recovery" days. Outside the gym, eat good food and lots of it, get an adequate amount of sleep(~7-8hrs), and generally just relax.

2 hours of BJJ, followed by stretching and foam rolling.

I tend to get quite sore after a hard session, so just looking at what others active recovery sessions look like.

And any tips to help with soreness, cheers!

Deep oh squats with a broomstick or just the bar. to reinforce that firing pattern and also to get every muscle involved working for better bloodflow and also so the lymphatic system can remove waste better. point is to do some kind of active mobility drill. lax ball/foam rolling. actually my roller got soft and the ones at my gym are soft as fuck too so i replaced it with abig wooden rolling pin. its a fucking bitch at first but i love it now. can also manually get adductors well with it. lay on the floor for a bit with feet elevated or in a "squat position against the wall, i find it very corrective and good for symmetry.

-just random thoughts so didnt bother with grammar/punctuation
