Recommend a free RPG game to a Sherbro

Hey guys, first time ever posting on here. I didn't even realize we had this sub forum lol. I think I just only recognized because I just read about Elden Ring, and with a red tag, it caught my eye lol.

I'm looking for a free rpg game to check out, Lost Ark seems like it's outside my laptop specs, I tried Albion, it felt more like a farmville than a rpg, Genshin impact also falls outside my laptop specs. Dauntless looked good, but it just looks like an (big) animal abuse to me so not sure.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Guild Wars 2 is a free to play MMORPG with paid expansions. Not sure how your laptop would handle it but the game was released about 10 years ago.

Thanks man, it looks like it's slightly outside my laptop spec, funny thing is, that was the last game that I was reading up on too lol

Neverwinter is pretty good. Combat is great, story is so so, grind is tolerable, specs are low. Mmo though. Not a ton of free non-MMO rpgs out there.

Your computer setup seems dated since you mentioned you can't run guildwars 2. You might have to try the CRPG route. They are usually story rich and rather fun. They might have shitty graphics. Maybe also check out shadowrun series. They are old games with slight RPG elements. Sometimes you can get it on sale for few bucks. I seen it for 1.49 before.

You just need to upgrade your PC or get a console honestly. Cell phones can run genshin your hardware is to dated.

Path of Exile is a pretty good free ARPG. As others have said get out of the stone ages and get a newish console or upgrade your rig.
