who are Rodrigo Medeiros and John Ouano?

they are noted as the instructors to Myles Vives who is a 1st degree blackbelt.

I was just wondering because myles has a school nearby which has the best price around and I want to check it out.

it doesn't matter to me who he was taught by as long as he's a good teacher.

the best way to see if someone is legit is to ask them who they got their belt from.

it is not 100% to trust a list on the internet

Rodrigo and Ouano are legit. I train under Tim Credeur (Black Belt) and Micah Lopez (Brown Belt) who are under Rodrigo. Ouano is under Rodrigo also. Rodrigos information can be found on his website if OTM doesnt have it populated yet (just google him). I cant speak for Ouano other than to say that Tim has the highest respect for him and that he is the maker of my favorite gi. I also cant speak for Myles Vives, but knowing the lineage, I would assume any rank he has is legit.

Rodrigo is one of the most technical jiujitsu guys around. Great competitor and even better teacher. He is a lifetime student of Carlson Gracie and stayed with Carlson until his final days. Javier Vasquez is a student of Rodrigo.
