Social Recent Military audit reveals Boeing overcharged Government 8000% for Soap Dispensers

Government employees get some of the cash under the table. There are reasons why people that get into congress, senate and other top governments positions wealth grows rapidly.

Who's going to jail over this?

As a government auditor, I'll go ahead and tell you that they are all gonna dick tuck and hope it goes away. Nobody will go to jail.

Honestly, with the amount of money involved between Boeing and the government, I'm surprised they even found this.

The people in charge of investigating this, answer to the people who received the kickbacks that these outrageous prices fund.

Y'all naive as hell. They're not overcharging for anything. The government is buying equipment for underground military bases and black projects, and fucking with the budget spreadsheets to obfuscate it. There are hundreds of billions every year that get siphoned off in this way and they list it as $1000 toilet seats, $700 ashtrays, $400 tape measures, $50 dollar screws. The DoD literally "lost track" of $21 trillion dollars up until 2015 where they decided to make the budgets secret. News flash: they didn't lose it, they're spending it on stuff the public would be up in arms about if they knew. The average person is such a weak-willed zombie that they don't care about 21 trillion going missing because MSM didn't tell them about it, so they sure as shit aren't going to care about this either.

This is what I keep telling you guys

8000% means that people in government are getting money under the table

People that work in government AT BEST, are lazy and just waiting for their pensions to kick in

People that work in government AT WORST are doing shit like this.

This is why we can never afford free healthcare. We have 20 million government workers in this country that are milking taxpayer money.

if you raise taxes, you're only making these guys even richer.
You just went from something somewhat reasonable to pretending dishonestly that 20 million people are milking the government dishonestly.

Is this related to that Diddo guy who's on trial? Didn't he have like a ton of lotion or something?

Capitalism. Boeing can charge what ever they want so long as the buyer is willing to pay it. The question should be who in the military approved that invoice?
What does it have to do with capitalism, the buyer in question owns a money printer......

- Sometimes i think we cant distinguish Boeing from the goverment.

Or someone high ranking his hooking Boeing up so he gets a job when he retires. It’s not common but it’s not exactly rare either
- We had a thread about this. But i am wrong in assuming thats more than one person, to pull something of this magnitude?

Lol, complete nonsense. This is just the nature of spending when it comes to the military - Boeing isn't special, Lockheed, Raytheon, BAE etc all do this. It's a well known joke in the industry that government spending on military projects is an endless fountain of money.

The stuff that's actually top secret are the low level details regarding manufacturing processes and specific design specs, not completely unheard of technology. Think of it this way - we all know how to make fried chicken, but the exact mix of spices, flour, oil temperature and so on that KFC uses is what makes their chicken unique and special. It's the same with military tech - making something that works is one thing, knowing the exact, custom details that make something that will run perfectly 100,000 times without fail rain or shine is where the magic secret sauce is. Part of the military budget goes to an insane amount of testing to come up with these details, but most of it is just these companies milking the government for every dime they can get, because it's 'for freedom' after all, and who wouldn't support that. The entirety of the propaganda machine in America around supporting the military is to keep people from questioning the money faucet that goes to these companies.

Source - I've actually done engineering work in these industries.

Vendors always find ways to do this. When I was running the warehouse for my BIL's solar company I ran an audit on some of the smaller items we bought from one of our main vendors and found out they were charging us double for something I could get from a random online site with free shipping to boot. They adjusted our pricing to beat it since we spent millions with them every month, but it was clear they knew what they were doing and only expected people to check comparable prices of the big ticket purchases like panels and inverters.

That one  small item saved the company $26,000 a year.

Why would that exclude the exchange falling under the umbrella of capitalism?

The progressives around here drop laugh emojis on my posts when I talk about how wasteful and inefficient the government is with our tax dollars.

Take notes people. This is just one of probably millions of examples.
It's nervous laughter. You can see it's like the 3 or 4 of the dumbest posters on here, and the one dude is legit a bot or retarded or something and doesn't even post, he just scrolls through to throw a laugh emoji on all the conservative posters, and a "love" emoji on every left wing post.

At least Wadtucket was entertaining with that gimmick.

Call me crazy but perhaps talking about it only puts more wind beneath that posters wings.

Yes.
BTW for solar systems components they usually overcharge for example small components.
For example screws etc....and a lot.
They does knows that clients will resesrch specs etc for inverter and panels...because these are most expensive for single peace...
While will they ask 1$ or 4$ for 1 screw¿

well what are you taxpayers going to do about it?

well what are you taxpayers going to do about it?
Elect more corrupt politicians, lobby and protest for more government spending, raise taxes..
Not necessarily in that order.
