Random question for Dutch speakers; does Cor Hemmers have a regional accent or does he just have a really distinct voice?

I'm not Dutch (only speak a few words) but I can tell that Cor Hemmers has a distinctive South accent which sounds similar to Flemish.

mehhh...he is from the south of Holland, but speak pretty ''normal dutch''. It's not like hardcore accent like in the provincial state Friesland. He and Nieky are both of the south but I don't reallly hear the accent thát hard.

Some news from Poland about DSF Kickboxing Challange and MFC (Makowski Fighting Championship)

DSF is starting with DSF 17 in Czestochowa 29th September. The main event is very anticipated rematch between current champ, Kamil Jenel (former Benelux champ) and Kamil Ruta. Their first fight was considered as FOTY in Poland by all polish kickboxing journalists.

In september will be a big event in Stettin with start of HW Grand Prix (no belt in stake). The winner will get probably 100,000 PLN (about 30,000$). Tomasz Sarara (WKN WCH), Michal Turynski (1-0, Glory), Michal Kita (MMA fighter who turned kickboxer recently), Tomasz Klimiuk and more (probably Falin, somebody from SK, Ukrainian WAKO amateur medalist and more). Also Maciej Jewtuszko (former WEC, UFC and KSW fighter) and Marcin Parcheta (very succeed amateur MT fighter). Noting than month scheduled and city is confirmed. Probably Ignashov vs Rozalski will happen on this event.

DSF also bought Ladies Fight Night, solely MMA,K-1 org for women in Europe. They will do event in December. Also minor DSF shows are scheduled in September and November and traditional december event. Still waiting for announcment about new broadcast partner.

MFC will provide best Polish kickboxers like Glory participants: Lukasz Plawecki and Pawel Jedrzejczyk, also Emilia Czerwinska (MFC champ, WAKO amateur multimedalist) Slawomir Przypis and some more great talents from Poland. Broadcast on Fightbox.

Sorry, English is not my first language.

Enfusion are laughable, they just used Ghiță, they didn"t have this money. See what Dave Walsh says, he is the owner of Liverkick and agrees with the Samurai. Hahaha, surely Daniel blackmailed the Moroccan mobsters. He is known as a Christian and was a former special force of the Romanian president. Ghiță is totally high morality! Some others might not be, especially the younger ones, but Ghiță and Moroșanu are not doing such things.

According to Vechtsportinfo, Badr Hari also signed an agreement with Enfusion and doesn"t want to fight. Of course that Nick Hemmers supports them and wants good relationships with everybody, but in fact Enfusion don"t have this money. They cannot pay peanuts to Hari and Ghiță. I don"t know what agreements they signed, but both Hari and Ghiță refuse to fight. Accusations like "blackmail" could be attacked by Ghiță"s lawyers if they continue with this mockery. Maybe they don"t know, but Ghiță"s manager is a lawyer.

As fan I am really sad this comeback doesn"t take place, but I am so pissed off at these stupid statements.

Ghiță will not fight for peanuts, he can get 50.000 euros from many Romanian televisions in entertainment like Moroșanu got. I think even Andrei Stoica got 30k and he"s not really known by everybody.

Enfusion wants Ghiță to fight for 10-15k, how much they can offer? Are they serious?

Hari wanted to get paid something by a certain date and Enfusion didn't make it. Glory then clearly paid something more and got him instead.

I don't think Ghita is extorting anyone but both sides are acting like amateurs. It'll be fucking hilarious though if Ghita now showed up in Glory like Hari did.

About the SK things, I'll believe they do something in kickboxing again when they actually do it. Not been a proper SK show held in a while now.

I still cant believe that he left the sport for more than 4 years and cant fight...the prophecies are right :(

He should get into Kunlun ship at 2015,he would be a famous fighter in there and would have a good purse in there.

If nick hemmers is really representing Ghita than 100% he ends up in Glory. It would not surprise me in the least if Ghita made the demand for more money from enfusion because glory finally got someone to cough up the cash to make a decent offer to him and now he wants enfusion to match it.

It also would not surprise me if basically this is a repeat of the badr situation where they didn't make the deposit in time which gave glory the opportunity to swoop in with a new offer and out bid enfusion.

Mafanofe, Ghiță not fighting for years and still in prime, it"s a kickboxing tragedy. Or Glory not using him in the US. And not just Ghiță, Glory using in America the knockout specialists. That"s why Ghiță was so loved by the Americans.

I am telling you, Glory is a Dutch-bit French promotion now. Plus they don"t care about the real legendary matches. What Verhoeven? Ghiță vs. Hari, and the war of the lightweights (Buakaw vs. Petrosyan, Buakaw vs. Sittichai, Sittichai vs. Petrosyan).

Hari wanted to get paid something by a certain date and Enfusion didn't make it. Glory then clearly paid something more and got him instead.

I also don"t want to say more about Enfusion, but they don"t have much money. They do this for image. Hari and Ghiță are no Souwer. Yes, Enfusion should end the amateurism. They are an entity, not an individual.

@Tayski Can you summarize what is said here? Is Vienot going to fight Yusef?

Interviewer says: "We want to ask you about Yusef as you previously mentioned that you'd like to face him. He's been smashing it in Muay Thai, even getting the Lumpini title. Are you still motivated to fight him?"

And Vienot says: "I box against anyone, so if the opportunity presents itself of course I'll fight him. I think it will happen at some point anyway, boxers cannot avoid each other forever, so yeah I'm here and ready and I know he will also be up for it as he's a great boxer. We would put on a great show and it's just a matter of time I think, be it him or other boxers it's just a matter of time."

So to answer your question, the fight doesn't seem planned but Vienot is keen and has no doubt the fight will happen at some point.

Andrei Stoica looked hugely sharp tonight in Golden Fighter at Constanța, demolishing a Lithuanian guy who did well in KOK.

Bogdan Stoica still not throwing very much (only hard punches), he is hard to be knocked out though. He has KOed the Chinese in the rematch, but he has been disqualified! Awesome jumping knee but we have K-1 rules and not K-1.

Romania beat China 6-4, but it should have been 7-3 because Bogdan was winning the fight in the 3rd round.

Superkombat CEO Eduard Irimia praising the owners of Golden Fighter and Oss.

PS. Fastest Milea won a world title, no idea what belt but 5 rounds against a French.

Romanian kickboxing promotion Golden Fighter made their live debut on FightBox HD this weekend from the seaside resort town of Mamaia, Romania. The show featured 12 big fights, the first nine being Romania vs. China fights. There was also a WKF title fight and Romanian superstar Andrei Stoica fought in the main event against Lithuanian heavyweight Tomas Steponkevicius who was a replacement for Clyde Brunswijk. It’s worth noting that in the Bogdan Stoica - Hao Guanghua rematch fight, it looked like a clean, highlight-reel knockout victory for Bogdan Stoica in the third round. However, the judges ruled that the jumping switch knee was illegal because Stoica was holding with two hands behind the head and gave the fight to Guanghua.
