What are everyones favorite submissions from rear mount..i am not too comfortable yet with this position.

in gi, single wing choke (kataha-jime)
in nogi, RNC... cause thats about it.

I meant to say in Gi because when i take someones back i someones am clueless to which submission to use

RNC, half nelson collar choke, bow & arrow, reverse triangle, North-South choke.

The Bow and Arrow choke soothes my soul.

My highest percentage submission is an arm bar.

I train in Gi so never attempt a RNC. As far as Gi chokes I still have trouble with getting good grips so I usually transition to an arm bar.

I would like to work more from the back position to increase my finishing percentage.

ezekiel from the back is very high percentage and easy to set up for me... you are under the arm so no one ever sees it coming.

+1 on bow choke

master the RNC and the armbar.

all other options are secondary to those, IMO

no-gi ofc

I can never get a proper bow and arrow choke; i just like kataha-jime better

RNC is always the go to move for me until i lose the hooks then i go for the armbar. Good idea? maybe i have no fucking clue im a white belt lol.

My instructor showed us this awesome sub when transitioning to the back and they leave an arm behind you. He said its called the porn (i think) and its basically the nastiest sub ive ever seen.

I have a vid of him demonstrating it if yall dont know what im talking about.

I think I'll speak for the majority of the group and say no, we don't know.

bow and arrow choke, there are so many available variations based on position and strength, that it is often very hard to resist if the lapel has already made it under the chin.

The farside armbar from rear mount is a difficult transition for me, so I rely on old faithful; RNC.

I like the forearm rnc that roger does in gi/nogi if I have a guy flattened out on backmount.

A short choke is pretty effective when you can't get the RNC hooked in.
