WMMA has proven to be a different fanbase than Conor's.
They need to reach out better to the RR casuals.
PPV buys are not singular.
The average 4-8 people watching.
The reason RR did so well was due to her getting the non-MMA diehards excited.
Holly was red hot after killing her and they let her die off.

UFC is still wayyyyy too butthurt over the Ronda murder to properly showcase Holly.

I`d say this is more Dana than the whole UFC crew. I don`t know for sure but my perception is that
Dana had a crush on Ronda from the beginning with her abrasive agressive attitude and being kind of his type. Over time he really bought into his own fabricated hype like Rogan etc.

Seing this bubble get completely destroyed takes time to accept. It`s like with a 3year old playing in a sandbox and some mean old preachers kid destroying his sand castle on purpose with a smile in her face.

I don`t think the Fertittas give a **** about RR. It`s just about does she make money or not. If not goodbye marketing.

Now HH is on the streak, and she actually has a delightful, wholesome personality; UFC, like usual, are dropping the ball cos they're run by partial incompetents.

Nah. Ronda cuts through. There is a reason she is on talkshows everywhere -it's just the sherbros that hate her. I like Holm, but if I were a talkshow host, I would find it difficult to know what angle I should use for our conversation.

Yeah, that reason is the hype job UFC have done; you think she'd be anything without her sporting success? Of course not.

As for the mainstream; they don't know much about everything; anyone that liked RR based on her Ellen appearance needs oestragen suppression therapy - it was pure Yuck!

As for Holly, if you can't get a good interview out of her - you don't belong in journalism.

The UFC couldn't care less about Wmma without ronda at the helm. They haven't promoted holly 1/10 of what they promoted ronda.

The UFC pays attention to media and forums. And it has come to the obvious conclusion that Rousey haters outnumber the Holm fans by a staggering number. Also when you do a love/hate combo comparison of both ladies, the number becomes even more staggering. If there was more talk love for Holm than there was talk of hatred for Rousey, Holm be promoted more.

Unfortunately, Holly is getting the Buster Douglas treatment. Yes, she did defeat a seemingly unstoppable force, but people only cared about the "unstoppable" force before and after.

Media loved her.
Tate is also very media friendly.
UFC had two people that have shown a willingness to promote and did nothing outside of that initial press conference.

Holly will win the rematch. What's Ronda going to do? Outstrike her? Nope, not possible. Learn to shoot doubles and singles? Nope, bad knees. All she has her judo, and Holly negated that with her strength. Ronda ran into a superior opponent, and a match up nightmare. Ronda fought the same way she always fights, and she got destroyed. Ronda has nothing for her.
