Reality distortion goggles

Just a thought experiment…

I feel this technology is nigh where we put on a pair of portable mixed reality goggles and they basically slightly alter anyone you look at in real time so that at least their face looks attractive. So every girl you pick up and have sex with can look like a model as long as you don’t take off your glasses. Suppose this exists, would you use it to willingly deceive yourself?

Will this become ubiquitous so that basically everyone in the world now looks physically attractive and it becomes socially taboo to look at someone without the glasses on? What does physical attractiveness even mean when everyone’s physically attractive?

Everything is already an illusion to a degree, with caked up make up, lip injections, breasts implants, ass implants. Fake nails, fake eye lashes, wigs, dyed hair. You can go on and on with women trying to be completely something they're not.

With these goggles will just take it to another level, but just remove the glasses for just one moment and the illusion is over, you'll lose that hard on as fast as you can blink. Plus you probably can find guys even attractive if you have those type of goggles. So no go go for me. The illusion they give now is more than enough to bare.

If this becomes mainstream, all of the women with personality are gonna start getting the guys! It's game over for hot, girls with cardboard personalities. unNatural selection.

But what if by making everyone look like an Instagram slut to yourself, you actually remove the power of those who are using makeup to try to manipulate you?

But deep down inside without those goggles, you know they look nothing like that. I don't know it's probably the same thing as jerking off to porn. You are not really have sex are you? But just with yourself and that idea of having sex with that person you see on the screen. So in a way I can see what your saying.

I mean one can argue that you are always having sex with an image of the other person you have in your head which is never completely true to reality.

But definitely one way this can be used is as a sex aid, not unlike lingerie

Yeah so another way to ask the question is would you choose to have beer goggles on all the time if didn’t involve being drunk?

Perhaps, one reason being why we put on beer goggles in the first place, which is to more easily gratify ourselves physically.

So how will the glasses manage to deceive you when you mount a 280lb North American land whale and grab her 4ft wide ass?
 
I can think of a different opposite use.

What if instead of making everyone attractive, it had an opposite setting and made everyone equally unattractive. Think of it like a anti-THOT goggle, an antidote to the wiles that some (most) women will employ to manipulate you using makeup and tight fitting clothes and what not (which I hate to admit works or at least requires mental effort to resist).
